Contemporary Visual Storytelling

The Visual Art week is primarily focus on artists who create the cultural resources of our shared future. The workshops in this week aim to offer a practice-based approach to technical, conceptual, historical and critical contexts of Visual Arts by providing the participants the skills and knowledge to define and innovate within their chosen cultural and artistic field.

 

 The workshop is aimed at professional photographers or photography practitioners who would like to engage in an in depth discussion about different visual aesthetics in visual storytelling. Projection and international distribution and how to expand connections worldwide.

- Understanding documenting photography

- Different approaches to visual storytelling

- How to project your work and reach to an audience

 

About the Expert (Monica Allende)

- Previously the Photo Editor at the Sunday Times Magazine

- Visiting lecturer at the London College of Communication in London

- Co-founder of Offspring Photo Meet in London, running photography workshops worldwide.
